A whole-home remodel of an existing property to return it to a more intentional and rational midcentury layout, including modifying a majority of the roof with new exposed glue-laminated wood beams to create high clerestory windows; a bright, airy, and open kitchen living and dining space; and to cover a new screened porch at the rear yard.

The property includes a large Live Oak with a canopy of over 100’ in diameter, the roof changes will draw in indirect northern light while providing views to the impressive tree canopy above. The space is organized with a continuous ribbon of millwork for storage and creating zones, while the existing brick facade and new breeze blocks are articulated on the interior, and exterior, of the home.
